City centre businesses are invited to submit their nominations for the 2019 ‘Smiles Better Awards’

Following on from last year’s hugely successful competition, ‘Preston It Smiles Better – The Awards’ are back, sponsored by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

Last year, tens of thousands of votes were cast for the great work done by people within the city centre.  This competition is once again open to retail, hospitality & leisure businesses based in the city centre.

To enter, please DOWNLOAD the nomination form and nominate yourself, a work colleague(s), your business or indeed another business who you think offers outstanding service.

Preston city centre is renowned for offering great customer service; campaigns like this significantly assist us in profiling the city centre and those businesses and individuals who offer outstanding service to Preston’s customers.

All nominations will go forward to a public vote from February.  Following the voting period, finalists will be informed, promoted and invited to attend the awards ceremony, the date of which is to be confirmed (likely late March/April).

We look forward to receiving your nomination(s) no later than Friday 1st February 2019.

They must be returned via email to, via fax to (01772) 655544 or posted back to the BID office (address on Contact Us page).

Please note, nominations received after this time cannot be accepted.
