Wings For Life

From 12.00pm on the 5th May there will be a charity fun run taking place at Preston’s Avenham park.  This is part of a global run in order to raise money for Red Bull’s official charity, Wings For Life.

11:30am – Meet at Avenhan Park Pavilion Cafe (Hydrate fully with a complimentary can of Red Bull).
12:00pm – Race Begins (Map of track to be published. Approximately 3.2km).
12:30 / 12:45pm – Race Finishes. Head over to 1842 for Alice in Disco Wonderland Party.
1.00pm till late – Alice In Disco Wonderland Day Party held in 1842’s outdoor area (The Rabbit Hole).

1) Wings For Life is an international not-for-profit foundation with one mission only – to help scientists find a cure for spinal cord injury. This event provides an opportunity for you to run with over one hundred thousand people all over the world at exactly the same time. 100% of your entry fees goes directly to spinal cord research.

2) Anyone who completes the race will recieve x 1 free drink token and x 1 free food token to claim at 1842 for the Alice in Disco Wonderland day party.

3) IT’S A FUN RUN. The theme is Alice in Disco wonderland. The BEST dressed runner will win a free bottle of your choice (Vodka, Gin or Rum) with mixers at the Alice in Disco Wonderland day party at 1842. All runners must all be dressed in disco theme!

4) 1842 have collaborated with Red Bull to host a bank holiday day party which hosts a full line up of DJ’s (to be published). The event will be live streamed on facebook.
