CITY TALK: Disc Portal

City centre retailers are invited a “City Talk” event, taking place on Wednesday 18th September from 10.00am at the Ivory Tower, above 1842.

To support retailers in minimising stock losses and the reporting of anti-social behaviour, BID’s ‘City Safe’ group has invested in a new online resource.

The Disc system is easily accessed via an app or desktop PC to identify local offenders, receive alerts, read news and documents, send instant messages to other stores and quickly submit incident reports back to BID, the police and City Council.  Users will also receive e-newsletters to ensure they are aware of what’s going on in the city centre!

Charlie Newman from Disc will be giving attendees a brief presentation on the powerful software platform and it’s benefits to your store.

ATTENDEES AT “CITY TALK” WILL BE GIVEN FREE ACCESS TO THE SYSTEM WHICH WILL BE FUNDED BY THE BID.

Following Charlie’s presentation, BID will provide an important update on activities underway to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the city centre.

The event is scheduled to conclude by 11.30am.  To book your free place(s) simply confirm the attendee’s names by email jonathan@lancschamber.co.uk
